Terry Snelling has been involved in the heavy construction industry since 1973 as a construction engineer, estimator, and construction manager. Owning and operating an asphalt paving and ready mix concrete operation from 1983 until 1992 and employed by companies such as City Wide Asphalt, Asphalt Plant Sales, Masters Jackson Paving Company and APAC Missouri. While with APAC, Terry was Vice President of Operations, overseeing ready mix concrete, asphalt production-construction, and sand-aggregate quarries. Upon leaving APAC in 2002 Terry started Terry Snelling Construction.
Originally created with emphasis on subdivision and roadway development, industry changes caused us to change our focus to rehabilitation projects for Municipal and other Government concerns, as well as Industrial and Commercial customers. We now specialize in removal, replacement, and repair of existing streets, curb and gutter, sidewalks, parking lots, as well as residential work. We also provide construction services for chemical companies in Greater Kansas City. All personnel are OSHA 10 certified, and key personnel are OSHA 40 Hazwopper certified as well.
Currently operating in the greater Kansas City market, TSC has 17 full time employees who specialize in earthwork and grading, storm sewer systems, curb and gutter construction as well as sidewalks, flatwork and structural concrete. The company was founded in January of 2002 and operated as a sole proprietorship until January 2009 when the company was incorporated in Missouri. The Corporation remains in good standing with the State of Missouri.
TSC is bondable and approved by the Missouri Department of Transportation for construction projects valued up to $2,000,000. We are fully insured with limits up to $5,000,000
TSC owns state of the art equipment, and combined with its mining and aggregate company owns in excess of $1,000,000 worth of construction equipment.
